
MUDRA MOVING MEDITATION FOR HEALTH

As you practice this exercise, be mindful of the constant presence and attention of the deity.
For both hands: Place the thumb tip and the middle finger tip lightly together on both hands. The lighter the better. Gently and slowly rub the thumb tip in a circle on the finger tip. One will be going counterclockwise while the other is going clockwise. Circle ten times and then reverse directions and circle another ten times. With practice you may feel a warm flow from your hands to your wrists, forearms, elbows, upper arms, shoulders, and spine.
When the spine gets warm, quickly move your thumb tips to the pads at the mid-sections of the middle fingers. Again rub the thumb tips very lightly in circles, ten times each direction. The warm flow is moving along the spine down to the end of the spine.
Next, move the thumbs to the pads at the base sections of the middle fingers and circle lightly ten times in each direction. You may feel the warm flow moving from the pelvic area to the upper legs, knees, lower legs, ankles, and to the bottoms of the feet.
The energy is slowly discharging. Your whole body may feel hot. This practice will help cleanse illness from your body.
Now place your thumbs on the sides of your ring fingers’ mid-sections. Slowly and gently rub up and down along the mid-section. The lighter your touch, the better. Now you may feel an expanding, warming sensation on the back of your head. This is to heal illnesses and develop wisdom.
